แอนดรอยด์และไอโอเอสแอปพลิเคชันสำหรับวิทยานิพนธ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์และงานวิจัยอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ | Android and IOS Applications for CMU e-Theses and CMU e-Research
Abstract
แอปพลิเคชันวิทยานิพนธ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (CMU e-Theses) และแอปพลิเคชันงานวิจัยอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (CMUe-Research) แบบOffline search ใช้สำหรับการสืบค้นฐานข้อมูลวิทยานิพนธ์และการค้นคว้าแบบอิสระอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ (CMUe-Theses) และฐานข้อมูลงานวิจัยอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ (CMU e-Research) ในลักษณะการให้บริการแบบห้องสมุดเสมือน (Virtual Library) ผ่านเครือข่ายและอุปกรณ์การสื่อสารประเภท Smart Device ได้แก่ Smart Phone และ Tablet Computer ซึ่งเป็นการเพิ่มทางเลือกในการสืบค้นฐานข้อมูล CMUL OPAC, CMU e-Theses และ CMU e-Research ผู้รับบริการสามารถดาวน์โหลดผ่าน App Store และใช้แอปพลิเคชันนี้ผ่านโทรศัพท์มือถือไอโฟนหรือคอมพิวเตอร์แท็บเล็บระบบปฏิบัติการ IOS (ไอแพด) สำหรับผู้ใช้บริการโทรศัพท์มือถือระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ สามารถดาวน์โหลดผ่าน Play Store ได้ จากผลการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้รับบริการพบว่าผู้รับบริการพึงพอใจต่อการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน CMU e-Theses และ CMU e-Research ในระดับมาก (ค่าเฉลี่ย 4.40, 4.20) การพัฒนาแอปพลิเคชันทั้งสองชุด ทำให้ผู้รับบริการสามารถเข้าถึงทรัพยากรสารสนเทศของห้องสมุดได้ทุกเวลาและไม่มีข้อจำกัดด้านสถานที่ โดยไม่ต้องเข้าใช้ผ่านหน้าเว็บไซต์สำนักหอสมุดและสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ได้พัฒนานวัตกรรมบริการด้วยการนำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศสมัยใหม่มาใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ในการสืบค้นสารสนเทศแก่ผู้รับบริการ และได้ส่งเสริมให้มีการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศอย่างคุ้มค่า และห้องสมุดอื่นสามารถนำแนวคิดในการพัฒนาโมบายแอปพลิเคชันนี้ไปพัฒนาโมบายแอปพลิเคชันสำหรับเข้าถึงฐานข้อมูลสารสนเทศอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของห้องสมุดได้
Those applications use for accessing CMU electronic theses and electronic research reports digitized by the library and providing as a virtual library through networking and smart devices including smart phones and tablet computers. The aim of the applications is to provide a new choice for users. Users can download the applications via App Store using their mobile phones or iPhones or tablet computers with IOS (iPad). Users who use Android mobile phones have to download the applications via Play Store. By surveying user satisfaction, it was found that users were very satisfied with those two applications with the average score of 4.40 and 4.20. In conclusion, the creation of those two applications make users access to our information resources at any time and any places without accessing via the library website. Chiang Mai University always encourages our staff to create service innovation using information technology to help users access to the information resources effectively as well as encourages users to use the library resources worthily. The ideas of developing applications for mobile devices are very useful and it will be delighted if any other libraries get the ideas of developing some mobile applications for accessing their electronic resources.
